I tend to have good conversations with my clients, and the whole day I spent talking to awesome people about hilarious things.

I didn’t get to do my bird drawing (he chose the hand of doom instead) but I’d still love to do it on someone…

I’ll be back at work saturday- I go to the dentist tomorrow, wish me luck.

Oh and also, some more new and old art for sale at the bottom here. I’ve been revamping my printshop a little, so go take a peek!

more tattoos!

I will post that one after it’s healed, since there was a lot of white and pale grey in it (pinkish from the freshly broken skin)

I also did these two pieces today. Fun stuff- bright butterflies and a cool little rocker guy.

I’ve got prints and originals for sale now at laughing buddha

If you’re not in Seattle, you can get prints of them at the links in the images below. For originals, you can always email me and ask about prices and shipping!

two tattoos from today: gay bubbles and feathers

10441431_10152199618857712_3868913596944338748_n photo 3Had a great day! I did some adorable peacock feathers on a lovely woman’s collarbones, and then I did “gay bubbles” (her description) on another awesome woman’s side. Good conversations and fun times, and everyone sat still!

I’ll be working at Buddha on Capitol Hill for the next week. I have a ton of sketches I’d love to do, floral stuff, animals and geometry, so come get some.

Also I would love to do more rainbow stuff. It’s almost pride, it’s time for rainbow everything!

framing works to bring to Seattle.

CAM00408I’m bringing a few paintings to Seattle with me to hang at Laughing Buddha; these pieces will be for sale there after this weekend. They’re originals. I only sliced my hand once framing and matting them!

I’ll be tattooing there, one more guest spot, from the 7-16 of June, too. I’d love to do some floral work, birds, or op art this trip, so if you are interested in getting some work done by me while I’m there hit me up by email (there’s a link to contact me at the top of the left sidebar on this page!)

Duplicating things

One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a horrible vermin. He lay on his armour-like back, and if he lifted his head a little he could see his brown belly, slightly domed and divided by arches into stiff sections. The bedding was hardly able to cover it and seemed ready to slide off any moment. His many legs, pitifully thin compared with the size of the rest of him, waved about helplessly as he looked. “What’s happened to me?” he thought. It wasn’t a dream. His room, a proper human room although a little too small, lay peacefully between its four familiar walls.

A collection of textile samples lay spread out on the table – Samsa was a travelling salesman – and above it there hung a picture that he had recently cut out of an illustrated magazine and housed in a nice, gilded frame. It showed a lady fitted out with a fur hat and fur boa who sat upright, raising a heavy fur muff that covered the whole of her lower arm towards the viewer. Gregor then turned to look out the window at the dull weather.
