skunk skull mount, $140 includes shipping
a very simple assemblage in an approximately 10×10″ square birch shadowbox without glass-
a cleaned and sealed skunk skull, stained and painted with oil based pigments, cradled upon a geometric nest of maple pods which are secured with bone glue.
This skull was wild-collected, and I do not know how he died.
I know that I did not kill him.
The maple pods are fuzzy, and yes they form a swastika, which represents in this case the four winds, not anything negative.
If you’d like to read more about the ritual use of this symbol throughout non-western history, here is a good link to more information.
Price includes handling, packaging, tracking, insurance, and shipping. NO international shipping on this guy, sorry. US only.
shipping cost includes packaging and insurance to prevent damage to the pods or skull.

finally putting up a solid list of what I have available from the art show right now. I know I should be more on it with getting stuff online but, I have been ill…my throat…gah…
*sucks lemon*
I spent the holiday of feasting in a home where children live, so of course I’m sick. The germ-laden little heathens!
I am sure I’ll recover soon enough. Lots of hot lemon and honey; lost of snuggling with dogs and cats.
And lots of catching up with online work to do.
Once again, these works will all be on display on Friday Dec. 2nd, for the friday art walk in Eugene, downstairs at the Oak Street Speakeasy (corner of Oak st and broadway)
See you guys there! or here, in the internet.

I had a very long day, set up google checkout for my anti-paypal folks, and tried to figure out how to sell direct from here…it may be a while before that happens! The internet is a complicated machine.
I also documented my caveman hands work, and made chicken salad.
Tomorrow I think I will draw and leave the internet strictly alone. I’ve just about had it.
Here are the last photos of the skull and bones art that I got today. I can’t wait for the show- it’s such a great feeling to meet people who are looking at the work in person, to hand it to them, to see their faces and hear their views in real life. I need that connection right now.
Everyone enjoy your thursday!

a few more things finished and in progress. working on a dogspider and spiderpig; finished this three-femur mount, and working on more animal drawings. I slept almost the entire day; I’ll have to figure out fixing up my sleep schedule tomorrow, because I work at the shop over the weekend, and will be working at the portland tattoo convention on saturday.
“the three”
deer femurs, large unknown-species spotted feathers, chicken underfeathers, peacock head plume, oil paint, wood.
