It’s my only thanksgiving art. I just couldn’t draw corn and wild turkey without the skull and eagle feathers as well, as one is the result of the other.
I was reading “armies of pestilence” (great book) the other night, and the statistics…man. 80-90% of the entire population of a continent wiped out in a few years. Biological warfare, genocide, and…you know, I almost wonder how different the world would be right now, if natives had been previously exposed and immune to smallpox. I do not think that at the start, medical knowledge was advanced enough to purposely cause this; but as time went on it definitely became purposeful. Damn.
