drilled stones.

Posted by resonanteye on 04/15/2012

Tattooed today, but spent the last few days printing on vellum and drilling holes in beach stones.

I’ll have a tattoo update tomorrow night, here are some rocks and things for you in the meantime!

Is drilling into stones hard? Do they tend to crack? How long does it take and what do you use to drill with?

    • it only takes a few minutes each using the right tools- yeah I cracked a few. you have to be careful. I use a dremel with a dentist’s diamond bit- and just go easy-

you have to do it under water as well. the dust can be pretty yuck otherwise. I’ve got some sea glass I wanna do next, and a few fossils.

SPEAK UP, yes you.
