mein gott mit der internet money!

So I have finally settled firmly on how to sell things.
I signed up for dwolla, and have squareup at the ready for phone orders of artwork.
I’ve given up on google checkout because they have NO customer support. Given up on paypal because they want to hold funds for 21 days before allowing me to access them. Do you want to wait a month to get something you bought? Didn’t think so. Also, they’ve made me re-verify several times because apparently to paypal a credit union account isn’t a “real” bank account…fuck them, and fuck that.
Dwolla it is. I can do squareup or bank transfer internationally too; I feel weird about phone orders but I know that people can email me the information as well, so…this is how I’m going for now.
I’m keeping the etsy shop up; but the payment methods locked tight to dwolla and squareup.
What a pain in the ass large financial institutions can be, and even more of a pain in the ass when they are arrogant enough to freeze money with no appeal process, or steal interest by holding funds. This is the 21st century. Online transfers should be pretty much immediate.
All that said, I’m glad it’s figured and sorted so I can go back to just making things and posting them.
